So what’s next for Brilliant Thing? The learning through the Culture Camp conversations and my recent work with charities like Breathworks and Mind in Salford and being on the NatWest Accelerator programme and meeting loads of purpose-led companies, has inspired me to create a new programme for 2023. I’d love to introduce Cultivate Value.
Cultivate Value is about supporting and enriching communities in Greater Manchester
We know small charities do this best but operate in a climate that causes money, staffing and long term planning issues. We know businesses can be great at strategy, and increasingly care about the communities they operate in, but find it hard to engage meaningfully communities and find opportunities to connect beyond donations.
So Cultivate Value exists!
Brilliant Thing is looking for 5 small charities and 5 business partners interested in collaborating. Together we will strengthen charities to create lasting community impact and help businesses achieve social value ambitions.
